New Paint Shop
The new paint shop is nearing completion. We are putting the finishing touches on it and it should be in use in February. The State of Mass has set up a new law requiring all auto body shops to use waterborne base coat paints by the year 2012. The waterborne paint is great stuff. It is environmentally friendly and looks fantastic on your car. Modern Auto body is ahead of the curve and will be using it very soon. We will also be adding more employees which will bring the staff to a total of 18 people. This should provide a quicker turn around time on the vehicle repairs. We are continuing our I-CAR training (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) to keep up with the new technology on late model vehicles. Our techs are also keeping up with their ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certifications.
On the fun side look for some of our cars in the World of Wheels in March.

Restoration Project
Our newest restoration project for the shop collection is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach I matching number 351 Air Car. We are also doing a restoration on a 1967 GTO for Steve Dalessandro. Keep a watch for photos on the Project Vehicles Page.
Newly acquired a 2010 Shelby GT500, one of the most powerful production Mustang that Ford has ever produced. The Shelby has 540 horsepower 5.4 liter supercharged V-8. See photo below.
Our new paint shop will have dual Nova-Verta Paint Booths with the capability of spraying waterborne paint. This waterborne paint is the paint of the future. Soon this will be the only type of paint shops will be utilizing.
